Spring Show.

Our Spring Show will be held on Sunday 17th March 2019 at Coombe Park Stables, Peniel, Carmarthen SA32 7HT. Cristina Fletcher (CARLINGFORD), Abergavenny, will be our judge. Ridden classes for Lead Rein to Show Hunters, including SP/SHP, Coloured, Intermediates, M&M in Hand, Novice & Open Ridden, NPS Silver Medal and NPS Winter Championship qualifiers. If you prefer a schedule by post, please send an SAE to our show secretary Patsy Duncan-Brown, Penpedwar, Maesycrugiau, Pencader, Carmarthenshire SA39 9DW. 

Postal entries closed on 8th March. Entries can be made after this date and on the day at £10 per class. Judging commences at 10am.

Please note, with apologies, there is an omission on the schedule:- Classes 12 & 13  - M & M Confined Novice Ridden classes are NPS/HY EQUESTRIAN Young Rider Championship qualifiers

Biosecurity Policy Spring Show:

We will not be policing passports at our show on March 17th but recommend that all horses and ponies attending the show should be vaccinated.

We therefore ask you all to please be vigilant and not attend the show if any of your horses or ponies (attending or not) present any of the following symptoms:

❌ high temperature
❌ cough
❌ nasal discharge
❌ enlarged glands
❌ conjunctivitis
❌ depression
❌ loss of appetite
❌ filling of the lower limbs.

If your horse or pony has recently been vaccinated please make sure you allow a full 7 days after the last injection before the competition 💉

If there are any outbreaks of equine influenza locally before the show we will, of course, be reviewing this policy.

Summer Show.

This will be held at Cothi Bridge Showground on Sunday 28th July. Judges are being finalised and the schedule will be available once cleared with NPS. Classes will be the same as last year. It will be able to be download from our website or if you want a schedule by post, please send an SAE to our show secretary Patsy Duncan-Brown, Penpedwar, Maesycrugiau, Pencader, Carmarthenshire SA39 9DW.

NPS Qualifiers at the show will be for the 2019 NPS Summer Championships and include the New Assendons Area Final for the NPS/Ringside M&M Open Ridden Champion and the NPS/Kellythorpe Stud Open Ridden Show Pony/Show Hunter Pony Champion.

Judges confirmed as

  • Ring 1 Kevin Walker - NPS Ridden & In hand classes and Miniature Horses
  • Ring 2 Lisa Chambers - all classes with the exception of Welsh Part Bred. Tiny Tots LR/FR, Pure & PB Arabs, Palomino/Dilute, Coloured/ Spotted, Young Handlers, General Ridden classes - Cob, Ridding Horse, Hack, Hunter and Race Horse to Riding Horse.
  • Ring 3 Kath Davies - A's and B's and Welsh Part Bred (Ring 2)
  • Ring 3 Tracy Hook - C's and D's and Ridden Welsh
  • Ring 4 Sandra Seward - M and M, In-hand and Ridden

Online Auction:
